Krueger GardenAlways a lovely site, this garden began its true odyssey when the owner retired 6 years ago. Trees were removed or elevated so that sun could come in, and over 80 tons of rock was loaded and hauled uphill in a wheelbarrow to create the walkways, raised beds and patios. The quest for plants began and has taken the gardener to many out of the way nurseries, as well as to California to pursue unusual plants. The result is a museum quality private garden, all done with organic gardening processes.

There is a wonderful vegetable garden, and extensive composting on site. Native plants intermingle with exotics to draw native birds and wildlife. The garden has a fantastic collection of shade loving plants and a huge variety of roses. Over 200 plant specimens.
