The lot was purchased and the house designed to accommodate a Hill Country garden with rooms of gardens in the English fashion.
The culmination of 8 years of work by the owners, this garden features native plants intermixed with elegant traditional plantings, creating a beautiful mosaic of color to rival any artist’s pallet as well as the creation of a delectable feast for birds and wildlife. There is a vegetable garden with raised beds, and a greenhouse where annuals are begun each winter. There are 7 garden rooms, each with its own unique style. This gardener is also a Docent with the Wildflower Center and her garden reflects those interests. This garden amply demonstrates that native, organic gardening with select drip irrigation can result in a spectacular garden.
